Alejandro Rico built the Tiny Crimes app as an Ad Supported app. This SERVICE is provided by Alejandro Rico at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use my Service.
If you choose to use my Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that I collect is used for providing and improving the Service. I will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which are accessible at Tiny Crimes unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.
Information Collection and Use
For a better experience, while using our Service, I may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. Any such personally identifiable information is retained on your device and is not collected by me, except as described below for consent-based advertising attribution, anonymous aggregate analytics, and the optional Daily Challenge leaderboard.
The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Advertising Attribution
If you consent through the privacy prompt, Tiny Crimes uses Meta and Adjust to measure advertising campaigns, installs, and in-app progression. These services may process advertising or device identifiers, IP address, device information, app activity, and campaign attribution data. Lion Studios, our partner for this publishing test, may access the resulting campaign and test reports.
Successful purchase and ad-impression events may also be reported for campaign measurement. Declining or withdrawing consent disables Meta and Adjust attribution. You can still play the game. Attribution data is kept separate from the product analytics described below.
Advertising
Tiny Crimes uses AdMob to show ads. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share an IP address, app interactions, diagnostic information, and device or app identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Depending on your region and consent choice, ads may be personalised or limited.
Analytics
The app collects pseudonymous product analytics to understand how the game is used and to run A/B experiments that help me improve it. This includes app interactions, session timestamps, app and platform version, a coarse country derived from your device language, and a random identifier created for this app installation. No account or login is required, and this analytics does not collect your name, email, contacts, photos, precise location, or Android advertising ID.
Analytics events and the app-scoped install identifier are sent over an encrypted connection to my backend, provided by Supabase. They are used only for product analytics and experiments. They are not used for cross-app tracking, are not joined to advertising identifiers or purchases, and are not shared with advertising partners.
Purchases
RevenueCat processes an anonymous app user identifier and purchase history to validate purchases, restore entitlements, prevent fraud, and provide purchase analytics. If you consent to advertising attribution, successful purchase events may also be sent to Adjust and Meta for campaign measurement.
Daily Challenge Leaderboard
The Daily Challenge leaderboard is optional. If you choose to take part by opening the Daily Challenge, the app records your result on a leaderboard so you can compare it with other players. Until you open the Daily Challenge for the first time, none of the information in this section is collected.
When you take part, the following is stored on my backend (provided by Supabase) and tied to an anonymous account created for your device:
- a random anonymous account identifier (this is not your Apple or Google account, and not an advertising identifier);
- a display name (a generated nickname such as “SwiftOtter”, or your Game Center or Google Play Games nickname on platforms where you connect one);
- a coarse country (for example, derived from your device or platform), shown as a flag;
- your Daily Challenge scores and solve times.
Your display name, country flag, and score are shown publicly on the leaderboard to other players. This information is used solely to operate the leaderboard inside Tiny Crimes. It is not used for advertising, is not linked to any advertising identifier, is not used to track you across other apps, and is not sold or shared with third parties for their own purposes.
Because this information is tied to an account, you can ask me to delete it: email me using the address at the end of this policy and I will remove the identifiable leaderboard profile and entries.
Log Data
I want to inform you that whenever you use my Service, in a case of an error in the app I collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing my Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
